Phyllis Campbell

SanMar Board of Advisors

Phyllis brings 40 years of executive experience from both sides of the table, serving both private and public companies with integrity and insight.

She is the Pacific Northwest chairman for JPMorgan Chase and Co., serving as the firm’s senior executive in Washington, Oregon and Idaho. She became president and CEO of U.S. Bank of Washington in 1993, the first woman in the state to lead a bank. Her customer-focused growth initiatives and acquisitions doubled their total assets by 1998.

Phyllis was also president/CEO of The Seattle Foundation, Washington’s largest community foundation. During her tenure, the foundation doubled its charitable assets to $600 million.

Phyllis has extensive for-profit and not-for-profit board experience. From 2003 to 2020, she was an independent director for Alaska Air Group. She also chaired the audit committee during a seven-year tenure on the Nordstrom Board of Directors. She currently sits on Toyota’s diversity advisory board and chairs the U.S.-Japan Council. Phyllis is also a member of the Allen Institute and the Global Advisory Board of Women Corporate Directors.

Marty Lott

Founder and Chairman

Marty says his business model is based on kindergarten simplicity: “Be Nice and Tell the Truth.”

While SanMar has earned top-performing status in the promotional products industry, Marty is best known for his calm leadership and humble demeanor, an intentional practice which grew from experiencing poor customer service from a prominent t-shirt company in 1971. His wife Sharon told him if he could do better, he should. So he did just that. More than fifty years later, SanMar employs over 5,500 people and distributes private, industry and retail label products from nine regional distribution hubs.

Marty has always felt that SanMar’s employees are at the heart of what makes the company successful, and he takes pride in never having executed a single layoff. Giving employees opportunities has been the reason behind Marty's motivation to grow the company over the years—one happy customer at a time.

Today, Marty has retired from the day-to-day operation of SanMar, but remains actively involved on the Board with his two sons, Jeremy and Jordan. He’s also focusing on spending time with his wife and their grandchildren.

In 2011, Marty was selected by the Advertising Specialty Institute as Person of the Year. In 2020, he was presented with the ASI Lifetime Achievement Award.

Robert Christensen

SanMar Board of Advisors

While Robert is currently enjoying a well-earned retirement, he continues to provide thoughtful insights from his years of leadership experience.

He developed his diverse operational, manufacturing, sales, product development, information technology and distribution experience during his 34-year career at PACCAR, one of the largest manufacturers of commercial vehicles in the world.

He led the company’s worldwide parts distribution division to record profits. He successfully integrated the company’s European distribution business and introduced leading-edge technologies into the supply chain. As Vice President and GM of the company’s Kenworth division, he led them to record market share and profitability. Robert was promoted to Executive Vice President at PACCAR in 2010 to lead the successful business expansion into South America. He became Chief Financial Officer in 2013 and President of the company in 2014.

He was also Board Director for PACCAR Financial Corporation, and a member of the executive operating committee and the PACCAR Audit Committee. He co-led the development and presentation of the biannual five-year strategic plan for the PACCAR Board of Directors.

In keeping with a desire to help the community in which he lives, he serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board at the University of Washington Foster School of Business.

Jordan Lott

President Lake Washington Partners

In many ways, Jordan grew up at SanMar. Today he’s co-owner of the company along with his father, Marty, and brother, Jeremy. A seasoned real estate development executive, Jordan’s experience centers around property acquisition and development, asset management and other corporate administrative functions.

He's also president of Lake Washington Partners, a family-owned commercial real estate investor and developer. LWP specializes in long-term investments in office and industrial properties, their tenants and in the communities they serve. Across the nine million square feet of commercial properties that Lake Washington Partners owns and operates nationwide, Jordan prioritizes deep community connections and spearheads the company’s commitment to social responsibility.

As a board member, Jordan works to maintain national recognition for SanMar as a premier imprinted apparel supplier and distributor by prioritizing first-class customer service.

Jordan is an active member of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association and serves as a research foundation governor for the National Association for Industrial and Office Parks.

His free time is spent with his wife and two daughters. He enjoys skiing, swimming and running, especially in the beautiful Pacific Northwest he calls home.

Jim Weber

Jim is an industry leader used to wearing many hats: serial CEO, entrepreneur, author, speaker and advocate for purpose-driven, authentic leadership.

Jim was chairman and CEO of Sims Sports, president of O’Brien International, and vice president at the Coleman Company. He led Brooks Running Company for over 23 years, driving innovation and brand loyalty, sharpening customer focus, and transforming the company into a global leader in performance running.

He currently serves on the board of advisors for Concord Music, the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management, and the Pacific Northwest chapter of CEOs Against Cancer.

Jim has been recognized for his leadership and contributions by Runner’s World, which named him one of the "nine most influential innovators" in running. He was also inducted into the Running Industry Association Hall of Fame in 2024, and was included in the Footwear News “Power 100” for 10 consecutive years.

His leadership memoir, Running with Purpose, was published in 2022. It recounts the compelling story of the Brooks turnaround through focused brand-building, fostering a high-performance culture, and driving executional excellence.

Jeremy Lott

Part of the SanMar Team since Day 1

As President and CEO of SanMar, one of the nation’s largest clothing wholesalers, Jeremy leads with the values that have guided his family’s business since 1971: “Be Nice and Tell the Truth.”

Under his leadership, SanMar has grown to employ more than 6,000 people in the United States and over 15,000 globally, through its Central American manufacturing joint venture. The company has been recognized as a Deloitte US Best Managed Company and the 2022 Puget Sound Business Journal Family Business of the Year.

Jeremy also stewards the major role SanMar plays in supporting local communities, including its national partnership with Breakthrough T1D, where he serves on the International Board of Directors.

He is also a board member of the Washington Business Roundtable and an Executive in Residence at the John L. Ward Center for Family Enterprises at the Kellogg School of Management, at Northwestern University, where he earned his MBA. Jeremy is also an alumnus of Emory University.

He enjoys spending time with his wife and six children while skiing, hiking, boating and generally staying active.
